"The money is in the list."

If you haven't heard that phrase yet, you will. Having a list of people that you can contact is directly proportionate to your long term earning potential. It is nice to sell a product or service, but you can do your customers one better by being able to provide them with interesting, relevant, up-to-date information on an ongoing basis. They will in turn do you one better by occasionally buying other items from you that they wouldn't know about otherwise. It is truly a win-win situation.
