I engaged in a conversation the other day with an online marketer who said it was not important to have a positive attitude all the time, because his customers rarely met him in person. He said as long as his marketing pieces and advertising pieces were positive, he would do fine. The problem is, he is not doing fine - not personally nor professionally. His poor attitude in his personal life has bled over into his marketing pieces. It bleeds through and in subtle ways can be seen. It also causes him to not focus as well as he could.
When you have a positive attitude you get more work done with your time. You are more productive. You also are more focused, which means the quality of your work is higher. You will get better overall results.
Even if you have to "fake it and make it" until the positive attitude is real and not forced you will slowly see better results from your efforts and eventually the attitude will be genuine.
