If you are in an organization that has an upline or downline, you have people on your team that are counting on you. Your upline is counting on you to do an excellent job so that they can make more money and be more productive. Your downline is counting on you to help them get off the ground and stay focused and productive.
Upline is to be communicated with every time you have an issue that needs resolved - a sales or closing question, a technical product question or any other topic of discussion in which someone more experienced in the business might be able to assist.
Downline is to be communicated with frequently. When you are just starting out and your organization is not that large, every team member can be spoken with daily, or at least twice every three days. As your organization grows, this will no longer be practical. You can sort your team members by priority of communication. To do this, what I do is determine who is most dedicated, serious and productive. I give help to those who are most deserving of the help, which is not necessarily those who need it the most. People who are working hard and making every effort to succeed need to get a communication every day or two. People who are working hard when they have some free time can be contacted once every couple of days. Those who are "some timers" get a contact once a week.
The above guidelines will help you stay productive by introducing good communication while practicing goos time management.
